BAYADA is a leading provider of home health care services, and they are seeking a Caregiver to join their Big Island Habilitation Team. The role involves providing 1:1 support to individuals with autism and other intellectual or developmental disabilities, assisting with daily tasks, and participating in community activities to enhance the clients' quality of life.

Responsibilities

Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities

Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation

Participate in community integration activities, errands, and appointments

Patiently teach, encourage, and celebrate small achievements, giving people the space to grow

Opportunity to enhance caregiving skills with support from our on-staff nurse and managers

Provide personal care assistance as needed

Qualification

Required

High school diploma or equivalent

Be at least 18 years of age

Preferred

One year experience working with clients with intellectual and development disabilities preferred but not required (paid training provided)
