YMCA of the USA is dedicated to empowering youth and strengthening communities. They are seeking a Marketing Outreach Coordinator responsible for building the image of the Glebe Older Adult Community Hub through various marketing strategies and outreach efforts to increase program awareness.

Responsibilities

Coordinate graphic design, printing, and distribution of printed materials
Provide program education through lectures, presentations, or other necessary communications with community and business stakeholders
Maintain email and mailing lists
Maintain social media platforms, including Facebook and the YMCA’s mobile app
Operate the website and keep it consistently updated with fresh and relevant material
Write high-quality marketing and communications materials, including brochures, newsletters, fliers, and postcards
Develop informational handout/packets and follow up on referrals and appointments
Support special events and attend meetings to enhance knowledge of the program and care delivery
Provide administrative support to the department as needed
Ensure alignment with all YMCA of Greater New York brand guidelines and work with the Association Office team on all social media postings

Required

High School Diploma required
Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience in the communications, marketing, or related fields required
Knowledge of social media, website maintenance, and general marketing
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral
Strong project management and organizational skills, plus the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Must have strong writing skills to post on social media
