Responsibilities

Develop and implement obstetrical patient safety programs with OB/GYN leadership
Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations (DOH, JCAHO, ACOG, AWOHNN)
Create monitoring systems & electronic reports to track safety metrics and identify risks
Design and deliver staff training programs on safety protocols and compliance
Review obstetrical regulations and distribute updates to hospital staff
Maintain departmental policies, procedures, and quality assurance programs
Monitor national benchmarks and recommend new safety standards
Liaison between obstetrical department, Risk Management, and Performance Improvement teams

Qualification

RN NYS licensureClinical experienceLeadership experienceOrganizational skillsCommunication skills

Required

Current RN NYS licensure
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience
Good organizational, interpersonal & computer skills
Good English verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

BSN, MS or MSN
