Watts Water Technologies is committed to providing safe, clean water for the world and is looking for a Financial Shared Services Intern for Summer 2026. In this role, interns will gain practical experience in accounting functions such as Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable while developing their understanding of the finance sector and networking with professionals.

Responsibilities

Tasks of general accounting: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or any combination of these areas

Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders. Performs timely follow-up on accounts payable communications and issues requiring special or urgent attention

Reconcile vendor & customer account statements

Reconcile aged open purchase order receipts to invoices and determine if write off is needed

Support and coordinate the activities of an AR portfolio. Perform timely follow-up on accounts receivable discrepancies and past due invoices

Participate in month-end financial closings, audit preparation, and other special projects as requested by Finance Shared Services management
