Responsibilities
Investigate standards and process gaps for structural analysis of electric drive designs
Develop new processes and methods for structural analysis
Document processes and work instructions in a standard format
Use FEA and other software tools to analyze components
Investigate advanced features of existing software tools to improve analysis processes
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or be a graduate from an accredited college
GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or B average, upon initial hire date
Undergraduate student, Junior/Senior level, majoring in Mechanical, Electrical, or Materials Engineering preferred
Desire to work in the automotive industry
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively
Analytical, technical, and statistical skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Works under general supervision (self-motivated)
Good knowledge base of engineering theories
ANSYS workbench experience
