Client Account Specialist

Hogan Lovells is seeking a detail-oriented professional with legal billing experience to join their team as a Client Account Specialist. In this role, you’ll manage the full billing and collections cycle for a portfolio of client matters, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely invoicing.

Responsibilities

Manage billing and collections from engagement through payment
Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines and fee arrangements
Prepare and submit accurate invoices and eBills
Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and internal teams
Monitor billing trends and prepare forecasts and reports
Troubleshoot eBilling issues and follow up on collections
Contribute to process improvements and team collaboration

Qualification

Legal billing experienceEBilling platforms’s degreeSpanish language skillsAttention to detailCommunication skillsProblem-solving abilities

Required

Three (3)+ years of experience in legal billing, eBilling, and/or account management
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business (or equivalent experience)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Preferred

Law firm or professional services experience preferred
Familiarity with eBilling platforms (e.g., TyMetrix, CounselLink, LegalTracker)
Spanish language skills a plus
