Responsibilities
Duties typically include managing the development cycle associated with producing a resilient software, hardware and web application, including: specification, design, coding, testing and maintenance
Systems engineers are concerned with the 'big picture' of a project in addition to technical aspects and must consider details like cost, schedules and social issues that may be associated with a project
Systems engineering is like putting together a puzzle, matching varied pieces together to make one cohesive whole
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's level degree in an Engineering discipline
3-10+ years of professional experience in systems engineering
Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility required
Preferred
Master's level degree in an Engineering discipline
Minimum of 10 years' systems engineering experience supporting Navy C4I
Experience with transitioning low Technology Readiness Level (TRL) Information System (IS) technologies (TRL 5 and below) into active and operational DoD C4I systems
PMP or CISSP certification
