They are seeking an Architectural Designer III to support their Facilities Architecture team in planning and designing new and renovated facilities, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, and contributing to business development efforts.

Responsibilities

Support our Facilities Architecture team in the planning and design of new and renovated facilities. Work includes Conceptual planning through Construction Document preparation and Construction Administration

Provide Architectural support to other Weston & Sampson discipline groups including our CMR (construction) team, Landscape Architecture, Environmental, and other Engineering groups

Coordinate both internal and external multi-disciplinary team members of the project on delegated tasks with input from the Project Manager and build strong working relationships throughout

Participate in inner-office functions, professional organizations, and technical committees as time and interest allows. Business Development and strategic marketing opportunities are available

Report to Architectural Project Manager and Team Leader

Required

3+ years of substantial experience as a productive member of a project design team with strong technical and Revit skills

Revit fluency is mandatory

Ability to function comfortably, gain trust, confidence, and deal effectively with a wide range of individuals including consultants, contractors, and facilities project team members both internally and externally from W&S

Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Architecture, or equivalent degree required

Demonstrated ability to understand all phases of project development from Schematic Design through Contract Administration

Strong written and verbal communication, presentation skills, and experience leading and participating in client presentations and design review meetings
