Responsibilities
Perform circulating and scrubbing duties in various surgical procedures
Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and supplies
Monitor and maintain sterile field throughout procedures
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
Document patient care accurately and completely
Manage operating room equipment and inventory
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Active New York State RN license; BLS and ACLS certification (or ability to obtain)
Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room experience required
Proficiency in general, ortho, trauma, neuro, and robotics cases. Must be able to scrub in addition to circulating duties
Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure surgical environments
