Responsibilities
Lead the overall commissioning team and process
Modify/develop project commissioning plans
Participate in peer review of designs
Review equipment submittals
Conduct commissioning team meetings
Conduct field inspections for conformance of the Construction Documents and submit corresponding reports
Maintain an issues log of deficiencies
Develop, witness and document functional test procedures
Work together with our Engineers to trouble shoot
Verify and witness owner training
Write commissioning reports
Qualification
Required
Level of Mechanical Knowledge equivalent to either: Associate/Technical Degree in Architectural, Construction, or Mechanical Engineering or, Minimum 5+ years of experience attained through Practical Work Experience as a Controls Technician or HVAC Tradesman
Minimum 2+ years of experience in Commissioning
Minimum 4+ Years of experience in the Construction Industry
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to travel at least 50% or as per project needs
Preferred
Experience with ASHRAE, BCxA, and/or PECI Cx and RETRO-Cx procedures and protocols a plus
Project Management experience a plus
