Responsibilities
Lead and manage the engineering team with a passion for mentoring and growing top engineering talent
Participate in key technical and design discussions with technical leads in the team as a hands-on manager
Define and drive identity and compliance monitoring roadmaps by collaborating with technical leads from multiple development teams, management, and business partners
Create a collaborative work environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, innovation and learning, while holding a high bar for software engineering practices
Work with senior management to develop a long-term technology strategy
Be a role model and professional coach for engineers with a strong bias for action and focus on craftsmanship
Qualification
Required
BS/BA in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent technical experience
7+ years industry experience in software design, development and delivery
5+ years of security experience
5+ years programming experience in multiple programming languages such as Rust, Python, Java, Golang, C/C++, C#, Objective-C, or Ruby
Experienced in large-scale compute infrastructure and large scale distributed systems
5+ years of hands-on technical management experience
Experience developing full stack applications using microservices architecture
Preferred
MS or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline
10+ years of hands-on technical management experience
8+ years of industry experience
2+ years of experience working with machine learning/artificial intelligence
Experience in the design and development of performant, highly available, scalable web applications
Track record of successfully managing multiple teams of engineers to deliver multiple projects on time and with quality
Hire and retain world-class engineers by providing career growth, mentoring, and high impact projects, while taking intelligent risks to improve the way work is done
Experience with building, deploying, and operating identity management or compliance monitoring services
Experience in building and deploying user authentication and authorization infrastructure (e.g OAuth)
