Start in 2026 SummerAdmiral Insurance Group, a member of the W. R. Berkley Corporation, specializes in underwriting commercial insurance and is seeking a Summer Intern for their Home Office Underwriting team. The intern will learn underwriting processes, participate in a collaborative project, and perform financial analysis to support business partners during their internship.

Responsibilities
Train with key team members to learn and participate in the process of underwriting and servicing of renewal accounts for the development and retention of Admiral business
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as needed to support our business partners
Collaborate on a group project with interns from other Admiral departments
Qualification
Required
Pursuit of a bachelor's degree with a focus in Risk Management and Insurance, or a related program/field preferred
GPA of 3.0 and above required
Ability to assess priorities and manage deadlines effectively
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Proven attention to detail, with excellent organizational skills
Strong research and analytical skills
Ability to work independently
Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Preferred
Rising Junior or Senior student is preferred
Interest in enhancing classroom learning through practical career-related work experience within the industry
Prior work experience is preferred
Career Interest in Underwriting/Excess and Surplus Lines
