Responsibilities
Design, configure, and enhance cloud-based security platforms to proactively prevent, detect, and respond to threats across dynamic environments
Collaborate with DevOps and patch management teams to identify, prioritize, and remediate misconfigurations or vulnerabilities before they impact operations
Partner with incident response specialists to improve alert fidelity, logging, and overall visibility into security events across endpoints and cloud resources
Contribute to the development of enterprise-wide security strategies aligned with business objectives and evolving industry standards
Continuously research emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices—integrating innovative defenses into existing tools and workflows
Support the creation and maintenance of robust incident response plans, secure access policies, and security awareness initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
3+ years of hands-on experience in security operations, cloud security, IT, or related fields
Proficiency with major cloud service providers (Azure, AWS, GCP) across IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS offerings
Experience leveraging cloud security solutions, endpoint detection & response (EDR), and posture management tools
Familiarity with leading security frameworks such as NIST 800-171, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001, or comparable standards
Preferred
Hands-on experience with CSPM/CNAAP platforms such as Prisma Cloud or similar tools
Ability to script and automate using Python, PowerShell, or Bash for configuration, reporting, and process improvement
Relevant certifications such as Security+, CCSP, or GIAC credentials
Exceptional analytical skills with a proven ability to dissect complex processes, identify root causes, and drive improvements
