Responsibilities

Perform various direct and indirect patient care activities in accordance with the Nursing Department policies and procedures

Assist with the care of any patient and a variety of functions related to patient registration, guest relations, chart prep, scheduling and supply management

Perform a variety of other duties related to preparing the surgical/endoscopy patient and maintaining the ACU/ENDO environment

Assist in setting up and turning over patient rooms, maintain appropriate supplies and equipment for operations, and functions as a liaison with Materials Management

Qualification

LNA licenseBLS certificationBasic nursing careElectronic medical documentationMedical terminology

Required

Current LNA license to practice professional nursing in the State of Vermont

Current BLS

Preferred

Prior experience as a Licensed Nursing Assistant in a health care setting

Experience with electronic medical documentation in a hospital setting

Basic knowledge of medical terminology
