UVM Medical Center is dedicated to providing high-quality care for patients and their families. They are seeking a psychologist to join a multidisciplinary team in a new integrative care program, focusing on delivering psychological services to individuals with chronic pain through various interventions and collaboration.

Responsibilities

Provide psychological services to individuals with chronic pain, utilizing empirically supported patient and family centered interventions

Offer individual and group interventions, psychoeducation with patients and families in support of positive outcomes

Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration and consultation

Qualification

Doctoral degree in clinical psychologyLicensed psychologist in VermontChronic pain patientsIntegrative modalities familiarityTrauma informed practiceMulticultural psychology backgroundHolistic model of careClinical Hypnosis certificationTeam collaboration skills

Required

Doctoral degree in clinical psychology

Licensed as a psychologist-doctorate in the State of Vermont

Background in working with patients experiencing chronic pain

Familiarity with integrative modalities and trauma informed practice

Commitment to a holistic model of care

Positive outlook

Ability to serve as a strong and collegial member of a highly functional team

Clinical Hypnosis required or training must be obtained prior to commencement of position

Preferred

Demonstrated background in multicultural psychology

Ability to contribute to the diversity, equity and inclusion in the department, organization and network
