Responsibilities
Oversee and manage transportation projects throughout Ohio and Michigan
Manage project teams to perform preliminary and final design engineering
Prepare construction plan documents to satisfy requirements for local and state roadway projects
Lead tasks and/or projects and interface directly with clients
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Registration as a Professional Engineer in Michigan, or ability to attain within 6 months of employment
Experience with multi-discipline infrastructure engineering design and construction projects
Substantial years' experience on transportation projects with Michigan DOT
Established local and DOT client relationships in Michigan
Previous project management experience
Demonstrated experience on various types of roadway design projects including design and plan development of new and rehabilitation highway projects
Understanding of and practical experience applying the AASHTO design guidelines to transportation projects
Strong mathematical, analytical, time management skills
Demonstrated communication and writing skills including technical report writing
