Managing Director of Site Operations
National Health Foundation is focused on addressing social determinants of health through various programs. They are seeking a Managing Director of Site Operations to provide executive leadership and operational oversight for regional recuperative care sites, ensuring high-quality services while meeting organizational growth and compliance goals.

Responsibilities
Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organization’s operations division
Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet organizational goals while contributing expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems within the values of NHF
Collaborates with other departments to carry out the organization’s goals and objectives
Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials at our recuperative care facilities
Ensures that operational decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organization's business plan, vision, and mission
Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support across all recuperative care facilities
Reviews and approves cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projects
Establishes and administers the department’s budget in collaboration with CEO
Supervise compliance with grant Audits as needed
Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the chief executive officer and other leadership
Understanding of harm reduction and trauma-informed care principles
Emergency response procedures and protocols
Coordination with healthcare providers, case managers, and discharge planners. Attend case conferences and respond to guest grievances and hospital partners as needed
Identifies and evaluates new vendors to help reduce operational costs while maintaining service quality. Monitors performance of current vendors and makes necessary changes to ensure cost-effectiveness and service standards
Ensures consistent quality of services and operations across all four recuperative care locations through regular site visits, performance assessments, and standardization of best practices
Knowledge of substance abuse and mental health considerations
Ability to visit multiple sites and work in various facility conditions
Availability for on-call responsibilities or emergency situations
Reviews and approves invoices and purchase orders within SAP Concur to ensure accuracy, compliance with budgetary constraints, and adherence to organizational budgets
Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management and homeless services
Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and implemented
Act as back up for all sites in the event of absence of any site leaders
Performs other related duties as assigned
Always follow NHF policies and procedures
Interview and train management level staff (Senior Directors, Directors and Managers) at all Recuperative Care sites
Oversees the daily workflow of the department, developing, implementing, and training all staff in changes
Possesses strong ability to hold others accountable for work errors, performance, and behavioral challenges
Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations for managers and directors at their Recuperative Care sites. Assisting all site leaders in performing periodic performance evaluations as needed for all Recuperative Care staff
Assist in the discipline and termination of employees in accordance with NHF policy and the People and Culture Department
Represent National Health Foundation at a community level by attending any Neighborhood Council meetings and act as a voice for National Health Foundation and our staff, addressing any concerns that may be brought up
Build, cultivate and foster relationships with Community Stakeholders, inviting them into our facilities (as approved by CEO) and educating them on our mission and vision
Ensure that National Health Foundation Recuperative Care policy and procedures are closely aligned with the National Healthcare for the Homeless Council and the National Institute for Medical Respite Care. Develop, implement, and train facilities on processes and procures to meet those goals as needed
Continue to monitor all contractual obligations National Health Foundation has with our partners, ensuring that we meet our goals. Develop, implement, and train facilities on processes and procures to meet those goals as needed
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Services, Healthcare Management, Public Administration, or other industry-related fields required
At least 15 years of field-related experience in human services
Strong operations experience required
5+ years in Upper Management required
Ability to build and sustain strong cohesive teams is a must
Preferred
Experience in homelessness services a plus
