Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate courses in cybersecurity, information technology, and potentially computer science

Guide undergraduate students through impactful research projects

Assist with advising and mentoring students, including leadership of our Cyber Defense Competition Team

Support our continued recognition as an NSA Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense

Build and sustain a vibrant research agenda that aligns with your expertise and interests

Required

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or in a closely related area

Applicants who are ABD will be considered at the rank of Instructor until completion of the Ph.D

Applicants must have a demonstrated academic and/or professional background in cybersecurity

Preferred

Candidates whose teaching and research promote innovation and problem solving in areas such as secure software development, cloud, containers, automation and orchestration, ethical hacking, virtualization, cybersecurity governance, IoT, server administration, and cyber analytics

Applicants who bring hands-on, applied approaches to teaching complex topics

Experience with cyber ranges
