Responsibilities

Develop and teach hands-on environmental education classes
Lead recreational games, campfires, singing, night hikes or other activities that convey the value if the natural environment
Select an environmental project approved by their on-site supervisor and which is an area of interest to the student
Conduct research and develop the project into a written plan

Required

High School/ GED
At least 6 months experience with Extension, a University or related environmental education experience
Applicant must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, be available to work long hours in a noisy environment, work in outside/hot/cold conditions, and be on feet for long periods of time

Preferred

College work toward a degree in some aspect of Environmental education or related field
