Responsibilities
Demonstrate strong hands-on production process development and problem-solving abilities
Lead initiatives to optimize manufacturing layout and space utilization
Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) transitions from Engineering to Operations
Support production to achieve on-time shipment (OTS) and revenue goals while maintaining high Out of Box Quality (OBQ)
Manage non-conforming material (NCMR) and implement corrective actions
Implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
At least 8 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
Proactive work attitude
Work independently, strong team player, detail oriented, organized, and hands-on
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills required; ability to diagnose and resolve issues across multidisciplinary systems
Effective technical communication and presentation skills
Strong self-management and drive to get things done
Must be able to lift ~50 lbs
Ability to Travel
Preferred
Experience in low volume high mix environment is a plus
Optical systems knowledge strongly preferred; experience with optical alignment, testing, or design is a plus
Experience with ERP systems on Material Master, BOMs, Routings, Documents. Experience with SAP is a plus
