Responsibilities

Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients, anticipating needs and partnering with the Vice President to coordinate deliverables and support new product and service implementations

Own client and vendor communications, including responding to inquiries, reviewing proposals, supporting pricing and renewal negotiations, and cultivating strong, long-term relationships

Manage the renewal and new business process from start to finish, ensuring accurate documentation, thorough quote reviews, and timely preparation of applications and contracts

Deliver a high-touch client experience through proactive issue resolution, clear and professional communication, and leading open enrollment and employee education meetings

Maintain organized client records and ensure compliance standards are met, including updating SBCs, preparing meeting and presentation materials, and keeping an active Life & Health License

Required

Maryland Life & Health License (required)

Previous experience working at a brokerage in the employee benefits industry (required)

Ability and willingness to travel to clients as needed (required)

Experience working with clients ranging from small to large groups (required)

Preferred

At least five years of industry experience (preferred)
