$20/hr - $20/hrNEOGOV is partnering with Victoria College to offer a part-time internship for students in their final semester of the Associate Degree in Nursing program. The internship provides hands-on clinical experience in a hospital setting, allowing interns to enhance their nursing skills under the supervision of experienced registered nurses.

Responsibilities
Assist with comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, and documentation
Participate in medication administration and IV therapy under supervision
Observe and support complex nursing interventions, such as wound care, catheterization, and telemetry monitoring
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and patient education activities
Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and HIPAA protocols
Assist in reviewing and updating patient care records in the electronic health record (EHR) system
Shadow and assist RNs in patient advocacy, discharge planning, and care coordination
Other duties as assigned by the preceptor or nursing supervisor
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in the final semester of the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Program at Victoria College
Strong knowledge of nursing fundamentals, pharmacology, and care protocols
Effective communication, empathy, and professionalism in clinical settings
Ability to use electronic health records and follow detailed procedures
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Selected interns are required to obtain liability insurance prior to their start date. Additional information will be provided to selected students
Benefits
Selected interns will receive a stipend from Victoria College to support transportation, childcare, and tuition/fees.
