Responsibilities
Assist in performing a variety of land surveying activities
Carry supplies, hold equipment, drive stakes, and clear lines
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver's license required
Strong work ethic
The ability to work a four-day schedule of 630AM - 530PM Monday - Thursday
Strong math skills
Written and verbal communication skills
The ability to perform strenuous physical activity in a wide range of temperatures and work environments
The ability for occasional overnight travel
Ability to work in an environment that may contain venomous snakes and insects such as ticks, red bugs, wasps, bees, hornets, yellow jackets, etc
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to work in a wide range of temperatures
Ability to climb hills and walk long distances
Ability to traverse different types of terrain
Ability to lift and carry up to 75lbs
Ability to interact both verbally and written
Preferred
Prior experience working in an outdoor environment preferred
Survey experience preferred
Experience with Carlson SurvCE, Robotic total stations and Trimble GPS equipment a plus
