Responsibilities
You will select proper and accurate technical factors and techniques to patient size, age or conditions, using universal precautions
You will evaluate the quality of the Echocardiogram procedures assuring that established protocols have been followed
You will assume that optimal quality images are submitted for interpretation
You will obtain and record all pertinent clinical information relating to the procedure ordered
You will properly set up equipment in accordance with the instructions in the department policy and procedure manual
You will assure all required documentation, films, forms, charges and the patient's medical record are completed as indicated
You will complete all required computer entries accurately, timely and without constant reminders
Qualification
Required
High School / GED
Vocational/Technical School
Echo cardiology Technology registry eligible
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
1-3 years of experience
