Responsibilities

Demonstrate competence in Interventional Radiology imaging equipment

Review images for technical quality and annotate accurately

Perform reconstructions of CTA scans and 3D renderings of cerebral imaging

Ensure images are properly archived in PACS and exam data is accurately entered in RIS

Perform exams according to department protocols and Radiologist preferences

Accurately input procedural data and charges in Radnet

Anticipate procedural variations and adjust to patient-specific needs

Create, maintain, and work within a sterile field

Maintain knowledge of inventory and ordering processes

Perform interventional and diagnostic studies as assigned

Work independently while collaborating as a core member of the IR team

Partner with nursing to maintain efficient patient flow

Participate in rotational on-call coverage

Demonstrate flexibility and time management to meet patient care needs

Follow radiation safety practices, wear badges, and comply with testing protocols

Maintain ARRT registry, Indiana license, CPR, and continuing education

Complete annual competencies and skill validations

Participate in orientation of new staff and students

Attend 90% of staff meetings and contribute to quality improvement projects

Accurately record timekeeping and meet departmental standards

Perform other job-related duties and projects as assigned

Contribute to continuous improvement and departmental goals

Attend departmental meetings and complete mandatory education on time

Maintain health requirements, licensure, and certification in good standing

Adhere to infection control, compliance, and safety policies

Be available for overtime and additional shifts when required

Required

Completion of an ARRT-approved Radiography Program

ARRT registry and Indiana State Board of Health license required

1–2 years of related experience required; Interventional Radiography experience preferred
