They are seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern or Co-op to work alongside other Electrical Engineers in preparing drawings, calculations, and deliverables for design projects while collaborating with different engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities
Complete calculations of limited complexity, with supervision as needed; may include lighting distribution, conduit/cable tray fills, voltage drop, feeder sizing, etc
Develop and maintain Electrical Single Line Diagrams, Schematic/Interconnection Diagrams, Conduit/Cable Schedules, Plans for Lighting, Grounding, Power, Controls, Raceway, etc
Support the development of Power System Study models for short circuit, load flow, protective device coordination and arc flash calculations efforts
Assist experienced Electrical Engineers with their activities as requested
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree (or equivalent education) in Electrical Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university
Effective communication skills in order to convey ideas is a must
Ability to work within diverse teams assembled from Nexus, clients, and others
Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Word
Seeks feedback to improve performance
Preferred
Experience with AutoCAD or other drafting software preferred
Familiarity with Power System Modeling software (ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower) is desirable
