Responsibilities

Performs Computerized Tomographic (CT) examinations on patients in accordance with established policies and procedures

Ensures the production of quality imaging and prepares pertinent patient information for physician and care team's review

Delivers patient care and education before, during and after diagnostic imaging procedures

Assists department management with administrative, quality assurance/control and leadership duties as assigned, including training, scheduling, quality assurance and mentoring staff CT Technologists

May act in a supervisory capacity in the absence of a regular supervisor

Qualification

Required

Graduate of an approved American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) program or current validated Registry from ARRT in Radiology Technology (R)

CT Certification required

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
