Atomic Semi is building a small, fast semiconductor fab and is seeking Process Engineering Interns for the Winter term. The role involves hands-on work in designing experiments, pushing wafers, and analyzing data within a semiconductor lab environment.

Designing experiments in conjunction with our process engineers, reading papers, white-boarding
Pushing wafers and learning tools
Analyzing experimental data, driving next steps

Qualification

Process engineering knowledgeWafer fabrication experienceCleanroom experienceMetrology tools knowledgeData processing in Python

Required

Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering
Ability to learn quickly and troubleshoot technical problems
Hands-on experience in a cleanroom or semiconductor lab fabricating wafers
Hands-on experience with wafer fabrication tools (etch, deposition, patterning) and metrology tools (AFM, SEM, thin film measurement, etc.)
Strong foundation in theoretical semiconductor knowledge (devices, fabrication, etc.)

Preferred

Familiarity with data processing in Python is a plus
