Responsibilities

Perform electroneurodiagnostic testing

Perform set up and preparation of equipment/supplies for ordered test

Review patient's history, obtain any necessary information or documentation and provide education to patient about procedures

Monitor and document patient's condition at all times and report any adverse reactions

Operate and maintain a variety of equipment to obtain diagnostic data, which may include EEG(Electroencephalography), EP (Evoked Potential), and PSG (Polysomnography) equipment

Recognize and correct for artifacts

Score/graph, document and report results of diagnostic procedures

Required

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required

Electroencephalographic Technician preferred

Technologist specializing in Evoked Potential credentialed from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists preferred

Technologist specializing in Nerve Conduction Study credentialed from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists preferred

2 to 3 years experience in Neurodiagnostic procedures

Technologist specializing in CLTM credentialing by ABRET

Technologist specializing in Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential credentialed from the American Board of Registration

Technologist specializing in EEG, EMU phase I & phase II monitoring

REEGT preferred or obtained within 2 years of hire date
