The Director of Business Development will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding their presence in the outpatient health industry, particularly focusing on the House Call Medical service program and Transition of Care program.

Responsibilities
Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources, such as physicians, payers, and case managers
Work with business leaders to review and grow the organization’s business strategy
Monitor industry activities and developing competitive strategies
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, strategic partners, and other stakeholders of the healthcare sector
Create short- and long-term plans to achieve goals and objectives for the business development department
Overseeing the pre-admission function and other aspects of the business
Craft and deliver pitches and form relationships with the customer from the physicians to executive levels
Oversee the day to day activities of one or more functions within the organization’s business offices
Draft proposal narratives, create draft budgets to package proposals and reports appropriately
Work with team members, Executive Director and Deputy Director to raise support from healthcare communities
Preparing business plans and budgets to present to management or clients
Qualification
Required
MBA is required
Proven experience within the healthcare industry especially nursing homes
Must be able to work in the field two days a week and be in the office three days a week
Excellent interpersonal, writing, and presentation, and persuasion skills
Minimum 3+ years' experience or exposure to business management
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid
Excellent business and technical acumen and are able to identify and seize opportunities
Detail-oriented and highly organized
