RF Hardware Design & Test Engineer

Responsibilities

RF/Microwave circuit and sub-system design, modeling, simulation, and verification
Integration and test at component, CCA, and subsystem levels
Transition to production and technical support to manufacturing and test engineers
Opportunities to manage small projects or processes within area of responsibility
Opportunities to travel to both domestic and international integration sites as well as to customer and subcontractor facilities

Required

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 2 years' of prior work experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
Two (2) years of experience in RF component analysis, design, and/or test (or one (1) year of experience with Masters)
Experience using Python or Matlab to collect and analyze test data
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

BS degree in Electrical Engineering
Background designing, testing, and troubleshooting analog and Radio Frequency CCAs
Integration and test of CCAs and subsystems
Hands-on experience with design simulation tools such as ADS and Mentor Graphics' Xpedition and analytical tools such as Matlab or equivalent
Experience with automated test scripts and software tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience working in a laboratory environment using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, phase noise analyzer (PNA), spectrum analyzers, real time spectrum analyzers, and performance network analyzers to test and verify the functions of digital and RF signal circuits and subsystems
Experience in a production environment
