Capital Project Intelligence is a consultancy and professional services firm specializing in large capital projects. The Data Analyst Level 2 plays a key role in delivering advanced analytics and proactive process improvements while collaborating across departments to shape data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities
Support day-to-day analytics operations, including data extraction, cleansing, and report generation
Create dashboards with guidance from senior analysts
Understand business needs to assist in decision-making
Communicate results and insights clearly and concisely
Ensure timely project completion
Visualize data in an easily consumable way for business stakeholders, using advanced reporting tools and dashboards
Execute ETL processes to assess datasets, identify nulls or errors, and load data to appropriate platforms
Perform in-depth data analysis and compile clear technical reports and findings
Collaborate effectively within and across teams, providing actionable insights to guide decisions
Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to continuous enhancement of analytics practices
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience; master's degree a plus
Ability to independently write and execute complex and efficient SQL queries
Experience designing and completing Power BI reports or similar dashboard projects
Demonstrated skillful data cleaning and validation
Proficiency with Power BI, SQL, and Python
Demonstrated focus on automation and version control
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical insights clearly to stakeholders
Experience in cross-functional collaboration with the ability to build trust and credibility
Strong planning, documentation, and process-tracking skills
Preferred
Energy utility domain knowledge preferred but not required
Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate Certificate or similar preferred
Experience with AWS preferred
