Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day operations for accounting and billing services
Process and match invoices to purchase orders; assign coders and resolve exceptions
Execute corrections, adjustments, and journal entries in AP and GL systems
Manage check cancellations and unclaimed property workflows
Prepare monthly account reconciliations and internal management reports
Research and resolve payment discrepancies across all complexity levels
Provide customer support for internal and external stakeholders
Process daily positive pay files and handle ACH, Zelle, and check payments
Set up vendors in financial and claims systems
Own 1099 processing and reporting end-to-end
Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation
Communicate and resolve escalated accounting discrepancies
Cross-train across enterprise disbursements and support other teams as needed
Participate in UAT testing for system patches and updates
Qualification
Required
Associate degree or equivalent experience
5–7 years of relevant work experience in accounting or billing operations
Strong understanding of GAAP and commercial accounting protocols
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with IT
Exceptional customer service mindset
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience with Coupa, Oracle Financials, and Guidewire
Familiarity with enterprise disbursement systems and UAT testing
