Responsibilities
Design of highway, arterial and local roadway improvements
Development of roadway, signing, pavement marking, traffic signal and maintenance of traffic plans
Roadway 3D Modeling
Prepare estimated quantity calculations and cost estimates
Conduct site visits to support the design process
Prepare alternative evaluation studies and similar reports
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering (transportation focus is a plus)
Entry Level position with up to 5 years of experience
Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
Proficient with Microsoft software, to include Microsoft Word and Excel
This position could require periodic travel, approximately 15% or more
Preferred
Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification with the intent to obtain Professional Engineer Certification, preferred
Experience with MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D is favorable
