Amazon seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to play a key role on the Alexa and Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) Insights, Planning, Econometrics and Decision (IPED) finance team. This role will be responsible for driving broad insights that can shape the Alexa and AGI financial strategies, including the GAAP and econometric P&L used to inform short and long term investment decisions.

Responsibilities

Leading short and long-term financial forecasting and planning for AWS cloud infrastructure costs across AGI and Alexa
Building financial reports, models, variance analysis, and cost allocations
Measuring operational and business metrics
Establishing controls and providing recommendations for infrastructure efficiency
Presenting financial summaries and business insights to senior management

Required

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
3+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
Experience working with stakeholders

Preferred

MBA, or CPA
Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
