Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced corporate business development professional to lead strategic initiatives, transactions, and partnerships for the cloud computing business. The role involves evaluating and managing complex partnerships, while working closely with internal stakeholders to drive growth and innovation through inorganic initiatives.

Responsibilities
Take the lead to evaluate, negotiate, and manage complex and high-profile partnerships that create new capabilities or significantly advance strategies of our internal teams
Proactively seek out new partner opportunities, leveraging subject matter expertise and ability to develop conviction independently
Build internal relationships and act as a trusted advisor to AWS executives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
MBA, or Master's degree in business, data science, public administration, finance, engineering, human resources or related field
7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to orchestrate and successfully complete deals
7+ years of professional experience
Strong oral and written communication skills to explain complex issues and influence stakeholders internally and externally
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to earn trust of senior management and external executives
Demonstrated ability to think strategically, creatively and innovate using sound business judgment and quantitative skills
Preferred
Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, business models, and trends
Ability to build and maintain a network of relationships to help navigate complex situations and foster long-term opportunities
7+ years in technology business development, investment banking, or venture investing experience
Experience structuring and negotiating technology/IP licenses and OEM license deals
Experience with buy vs. build analysis and considerations
Experience structuring and negotiating successful partnership go-to-market sales motions
