Responsibilities

Perform the duties involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for detecting pathology
Perform invasive angiographic/cardiovascular/interventional imaging procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury
Provide patient education
Perform quality assessment activities
Assist in training of Radiology students
May have additional duties assigned within scope of the role

Required

Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology required
Active post-secondary registry in Vascular Interventional or actively working to collect clinical hours necessary to become registry eligible through ARRT in Vascular Intervention
Active ARRT Radiography required
BLS required
Must possess reasoning ability and good independent judgment
Must have the ability to work within rigid time constraints
Must remain aware of patient conditions at all times
Must demonstrate effective communication skills
