Review clinical documentation and billing data to ensure all appropriate charges are captured and coded correctly

Monitor daily charge reconciliation workflows to identify missing, late, or erroneous charges

Collaborate with chargemaster, coding, billing, clinical, Informatics, and operational staff to resolve charge capture issues

Identify trends or root causes of charge capture errors and recommend corrective actions

Educate clinical and operational staff on best practices and policies related to charge capture

Analyze charge data and create reports for leadership to monitor performance and opportunities

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific billing regulations and guidelines

Support new service line or department setups by working collaboratively with the ChargeMaster Team to ensure appropriate charges are available for clinic
