CT Technologist I
The University of Vermont Medical Center is a healthcare institution seeking a CT Technologist I. The role involves operating CT equipment for exams, supporting radiography students and new technologists, and may require working various shifts including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
Operate a variety of CT equipment to perform CT exams according to established practices under the direction of a Radiologist, Supervisor, and Lead Technologists, utilizing ionizing radiation
Provide support to Radiography students, new technologists and other hospital personnel as needed
May be required to work a variety of shifts, weekends, holidays, and take call on a rotational basis
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology approved by CAHEA/JERCT
Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
Less than one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist
