Associate Manager, Social Media
UNIQLO is a company that embodies Japanese values of simplicity, quality, and longevity in its apparel. The Associate Manager, Social Media will manage the organic social media accounts for UNIQLO USA, leading content creation and contributing to the creative strategy to enhance brand storytelling.
Responsibilities
Manage content calendars, scheduling and posting across all @UNIQLOUSA social media accounts in collaboration with external social media agency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product priorities, brand announcements, and corporate initiatives are strategically integrated across content calendars in support of total business
Lead content production in stores, in studio, and/or at brand events, inclusive of creative ideation, casting, product logistics, and set design
Ideate creative content strategies, address key interests for respective channels and tailor content to be most relevant and effective for each platform
Organize and maintain necessary assets, imagery, and other related materials
Create synergy with influencer programs by working with PR / Influencer team and supporting in the development and maintaining of influencer target lists
Manage @UNIQLOUSA comments and direct messages to enhance community engagement and vet potential opportunities to work with new talent
Manage compiling all internal and external reporting, analyzing results for on-going improvements to reach our follower growth and engagement goals
Maintain a keen understanding of culturally relevant events, industry news and trends to expertly inform real-time social strategies, especially as related to Gen-Z and Gen Alpha
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in marketing, brand communications or related field
2-3 years of professional experience in social media marketing or related role, preferably at an agency or in-house environment related to fashion and lifestyle brands
Strong desire and ability to contribute to a brand through content creation across multiple platforms and comfortable being in front of the camera if needed
Keen understanding of the global digital landscape within the fashion/lifestyle arena
Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms
Experience working collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment while building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
Skilled in seeing projects through from ideation to completion with a sense of urgency
Resourceful and proactive work ethic with the ability to multitask and quickly revise plans based on changing priorities or business challenges
Demonstrated ability to work effectively both autonomously and collaboratively
Collaborative team player with a fantastic can-do attitude
Sharp attention to detail and organization
