Senior Mobile Developer (React Native)
Sage Labs is an early-stage startup based in San Francisco, focused on building GOLD, a next-generation AI shopping app. They are seeking a Senior Mobile Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of their iOS app using React Native, collaborating closely with various teams to enhance the shopping experience.

Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and deployment of our flagship iOS app built with React Native
Build and maintain high-performance and scalable mobile experiences
Collaborate closely with design, product, backend engineering and AI research teams to ship shopping features
Define the architecture and technical roadmap for the iOS app as we scale
Own critical product features end-to-end, from prototype to production
Help set and promote mobile engineering best practices, code quality, and performance standards
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to other engineers as we grow the team
Qualification
Required
5-7+ years of professional mobile development experience, with proven expertise shipping consumer-facing apps
Deep expertise in React Native and strong experience with TypeScript/Node.js
Solid understanding of iOS-specific tooling (Xcode, provisioning, TestFlight) and deployment processes
Experience integrating with REST APIs
Strong grasp of mobile performance optimization, offline-first design, and UI/UX best practices
Comfortable working across the stack with backend engineers when needed
Preferred
Experience with e-commerce or high-traffic consumer apps
Past experience leading teams or mentoring other developers
Previous experience with Expo Framework
