Responsibilities
Willingness to float to multiple locations
Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans
Performs nursing intervention across a variety of nursing situations
Identifies patient problems prior to explicit changes in patient-specific data collection (such as vital signs)
Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
Graduate of CAAHEP accredited Surgical Technology program required
Specific knowledge of surgical procedures within the operating room (OR), in addition to knowledge of surgical procedures, practices and techniques in providing patient care and assisting surgeons in the O.R
Minimum of three years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
Current BLS certification required
