The Business Development Specialist will maintain and build relationships with customers, proactively managing sales opportunities and driving revenue through outbound calls and strategic account development.

Responsibilities
Place a high volume of outbound calls to new and existing customers
Sell Parts Town solutions and value proposition to targeted customer base
Drive revenue by prospecting and building a pipeline while simultaneously fostering personal relationships with potential and existing customers nationwide
Identify and develop new account opportunities via account research, calling prospective clients and follow-up on existing customer orders
Integrate all sales activities into CRM (Salesforce.com) system for timely, accurate reporting
Conduct research on accounts to develop an understanding of the account’s business issues and other relevant information
Partner with Customer Experience team members to develop and grow customer relationships
Educate customers on Parts Town resources and capabilities (electronic resources, technical support, manufacturer relationships etc)
Qualification
Required
2+ years of sales, business development, customer development or account management experience
Self-motivated, passionate and hungry to make a big impact
Proactive – taking initiative and following through are a must
Resilient – see rejection as an exciting challenge
Passion for building relationships and see each customer interaction as an opportunity to form a personal emotional connection
Fantastic communication skills & proficient in English (verbal and written)
Willing to work Monday- Friday 9am-6pm (CST)
Preferred
Excel whiz and/or familiar with Salesforce
