Responsibilities
Provide outpatient clinic coverage and surgical care for sinus and sleep-related disorders
Perform advanced sinus and anterior skull base surgeries, including septoplasty, ethmoidectomy, sphenoidectomy, polypectomy, and sleep apnea interventions
Diagnose and treat conditions such as sinusitis, snoring, and sleep apnea
Participate in operating room coverage for scheduled and emergent cases
Ensure patient care meets or exceeds VA, TJC, and AHA standards
Maintain accurate medical documentation in VA electronic health systems
Qualification
Required
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Otolaryngology
Fellowship training in Sinus/Sleep Medicine
Unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. state or territory
Current BLS and ACLS certification
Ability to obtain and maintain VA credentialing and privileging
Compliance with CME requirements, immunizations, and infection control standards
Proficiency in English for patient care and documentation
