Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate cybersecurity courses
Design and update curriculum to reflect the latest trends in cybersecurity
Engage students in hands-on learning experiences
Deliver course content to students
Prepare course materials and lesson plans
Grade student work
Provide students with robust feedback in a timely manner
Address student questions consistent with university, college/school, and department policies
Provide online or in person academic support to students as needed and appropriate for the teaching assignment
Provide instruction in assigned classes consistent with the content and learning objectives of the regular course syllabus
Maintain office hours
Comply with university-wide student evaluation of instruction policies and peer observation policies
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field. Alternatively, a bachelor's degree in the above fields combined with minimum five years of industry experience in cybersecurity
Proven ability in education, technical aptitude, creative problem-solving, and teamwork
Excellent communication skills and knowledge of national cybersecurity educational frameworks
Preferred
Industry and higher education teaching experience
Relevant cybersecurity certifications
