Responsibilities

Develop and Optimize Data Pipelines: Assist in building ETL/ELT workflows to ingest, transform, and prepare data for analytics using SQL, Python, and cloud-based platforms

Ensure Data Quality and Governance: Apply best practices for data validation, integrity, and compliance to maintain trusted datasets across the organization

Create Analytical Assets: Support the development of dashboards, reports, and data models that enable business teams to make informed decisions

Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Data Engineering, Business Intelligence and Data Governance teams to align solutions with enterprise data strategy and governance standards

Contribute to Innovation: Explore emerging technologies and techniques in data engineering to recommend improvements for scalability and performance

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and pipeline development

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with large, complex datasets

Experience with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and version control (Git)

Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher

Excellent communication, collaboration, and curiosity to learn in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Exposure to data governance principles and metadata management is a plus

Familiarity with data engineering concepts (ETL pipelines, data modeling, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP)
