Help define the near and long-term product strategy, through deep industry engagement, market analysis and understanding emerging trends

Ensure product alignment with BNY’s mission and principles

Help shape industry best practices

Translate client needs into commercial product solutions

Craft product roadmap to ensure incremental and prompt product delivery

Understand the regulatory environment and product feasibility

Define target client segment and go-to-market strategy

Conduct competitive market research and analysis

Engage with cross-functional subject matter experts

Communicate effectively to stakeholders at all levels

Adhere to product governance framework

Establish support model across the product lifecycle

Track product performance across operational, technical and commercial indicators

Collect client and internal feedback for continuous product improvement

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

6+ years relevant industry experience in digital assets, trading, or financial services product management

Experience working on a trading desk, an exchange or an electronic trading platform a plus

Must exhibit flexibility and be able to quickly adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment where new challenges arise and priorities shift

Excellent communication and documentation skills; ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders

Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite

Experience working within financial markets, with a deep understanding of the lifecycle of a trade, from trading to settlement, for both listed and over-the-counter financial instruments

Understanding of cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, and the digital asset landscape

Demonstrated curiosity for all things blockchain

Self-motivated: Proactively identifies new opportunities or challenges; takes ownership of outcomes

Collaborative: Strong leadership capabilities with experience working within complex, matrixed organizations to deliver on goals

Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics to drive decision-making
