Responsibilities

Develop meaningful relationships with high-level decision makers across the media, marketing and sponsorship landscape, both client-direct and at sports marketing agencies
Lead in-depth presales work with technology brands, understanding their unique product and service offerings and translating these into innovative integrations within sport
Act as the subject matter lead for the technology sector, ensuring Playfly develops compelling, insight-driven partnership narratives that highlight how tech brands can drive adoption, visibility, and revenue growth through sports sponsorship
Possess superior presentation skills to articulate and monetize concepts in a consultative manner to generate revenue from new, traditional and non-traditional sources
Represent the Access team in local office, working closely with the Head of Integrated Sales in-market to identify prospects, set sales strategy and grow overall revenue
Generate new and/or incremental revenue through sales of integrated media and non-media assets of MLB, NBA, and NHL---as well as our college properties division, brand consulting, Playfly Europe and Paragon properties
Collaborate across all Playfly divisions to effectively target brands and convert prospects into partners. Develop and build new concepts, cross-sales platforms, and promotional opportunities
Utilize all available systems / reporting tools to ensure transparency and accountability towards achievement of assigned budget goals
Employ the latest prospecting tools, research data, and market, sponsorship, and media knowledge to develop effective, brand-centric sales positioning
Ensure optimal market coverage by participating in client activities, trade association events and socials, and any ancillary activities that can assist in better visibility and revenue growth

Required

Bachelor's degree required (preference in Sports Media, Communications, Marketing or related fields)
Minimum of 8+ years' experience in business development, partnership sales, sponsorship, brand strategy in an Ad Sales capacity
Direct experience working with technology brands (enterprise, consumer, SaaS or emerging tech), with a proven ability to align complex offerings with marketing/sponsorship opportunities
Strong presales and consultative selling experience within the technology sector, ideally in environments that required cross-functional collaboration with sales, product, and commercial teams to develop go-to-market solutions
Must have prior management experience
Must have interest and knowledge of the sports industry and sponsorship sports sales
Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with high-level clientele is required
Proven track record of innovative strategy development and ad revenue generation and/or support
Must be a strategic thinker and possess an entrepreneurial mindset
Superior public speaking and persuasive presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary
Strong leadership and organizational skills are necessary
Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Revenue Generation systems is a plus

Preferred

Experience in Team Sponsorship and Sports Arena Sales is a plus
