They are seeking a Senior Water Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure projects in water and wastewater conveyance systems, manage multidisciplinary teams, and support business growth through client development.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, design, and implementation of water and wastewater conveyance projects, including pipelines, force mains, gravity sewers, and pump stations

Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality control across all phases

Coordinate with clients, permitting agencies, contractors, and internal technical teams

Prepare and review engineering reports, design documents, specifications, and cost estimates

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

Support permitting and environmental documentation processes.Conducts work to appropriate professional standards and to the firm’s QA/QC requirements. Participates in QA/QC programs for other projects as requested by managers

Perform schedule reviews on construction projects and maintain/develop schedules for design and construction of assigned projects

Provide mentoring to engineering staff to support the team's technical skill development

Manage projects’ budget and schedule

Lead proposal development efforts for new business

Grow relationships with existing and prospective clients; this includes business development, sales and marketing

Required

Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in environmental or civil engineering

Professional Engineer license in Texas or ability to acquire upon six months of hiring date

10+ years of water/wastewater design experience in municipal water, wastewater, water resource, and/or conveyance projects in the Central US region; preference to 10 years of experience in the Texas market

Significant experience in de-salination plants, water and wastewater treatment, conveyance and pump station

Experience in coordinating and simultaneously managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail, schedule and budget

Ability to present technical information, both written and orally, in a concise and professional manner; must have strong technical writing skills

Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory/permitting agencies including TCEQ, and EPA
