Engineering Specialist IV - Capacity Planning
Seagate Technology is responsible for key services including capacity planning and factory design. The Engineering Specialist IV will support industrial engineering capacity model planning and improve manufacturing operations through data tracking and process enhancements.

Responsibilities
Support Industrial Engineering capacity model planning, fab layout and operational performance by data tracking
Conduct time studies in the factory on tooling and wafer movement
Conduct time studies using data automation for tooling to implement into the capacity model for capacity planning
Update workflow automations for enhancements requested and tool changes
Highlights opportunities around process improvements and implements improvements in a creative and effective way
Qualification
Required
Requires a minimum 4-6 years of related experience
Proficient with Excel, preferably advanced skills
Able to communicate factory actions to engineering teams
Successful experience in process improvement initiatives
You are self-motivated, able to work independently, and have strong attention to detail
You are a team player capable of working in strong partnership with and communicating effectively with a diverse group of engineers and technicians
You can maintain thorough documentation of results and be able to clearly discuss them with the engineering staff
You are able and willing to adapt to changing needs of a fast-paced development program
